Gideon Yeo. 2D/2D Animator

A 2D/3D animation artist for 3 years and counting. Being stuck to the television screen from young was where my love for cartoons started. Japanese animation series such as “Gurren Lagann” and “Neon Genesis Evangelion” has only fuelled my love of animation further. With its unique visual and animation style, along with its gripping and thought-provoking storyline, I felt a calling to pursue this line of work- to create an animation of my own. After all, what great is a life without a big dream? Hence, I decided to study in the fields of Digital Animation.

 

Participated in an Immersion programme with Digital Hollywood University, creating a short 2D animation and also gained a better knowledge of the 2D animation pipeline. I learnt about the industry short comings of 2d animation in japan-its hectic timeline, and budget constraints.

 

I believe that just as imagination and art to be limitless, so is the potential of an artist.
